PensionsNew British Red Cross staff are entitled to join either the Pensions Trusts Unitised Ethical Plan or the Pensions Trusts Flexible Retirement Plan. Staff had previously been entitled to join the British Red Cross Pension Fund (UK Office scheme), Scottish Branch British Red Cross Society Retirement Benefits Scheme (Scottish scheme) or the Pensions Trusts Growth Plan. These three schemes are all closed to new entrants. UK Office and Scottish defined benefit pension schemes The assets of these pension schemes are hel d in separate trustee-administered funds.
